Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager 3 to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will manage the successful delivery of technical and operational projects associated with DOE 413.3B line-item capital asset programs. You will be responsible for project planning, cost and schedule integration, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver with experience supporting complex federal projects and navigating challenging client environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the planning and execution of technical or operational projects from initiation through completion.

Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate technical requirements with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and maintain project controls processes including integrated schedules, cost analysis, and risk tracking.

Monitor project performance and provide timely reporting and guidance on cost and schedule trends.

Deliver high-quality work products to support customer requirements, in accordance with DOE O 413.3B project lifecycle guidance.

Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; anticipate and address concerns in a proactive, solution-oriented manner.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or
-
Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated success in project controls or technical project management roles.

Strong understanding of DOE O 413.3B project lifecycle, including risk management and reporting.

Experience supporting technically complex, high-visibility programs in secure or sensitive environments.

U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Q Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

PMP, EVMP, PSP, or other relevant professional certifications.

Prior experience supporting DOE or NNSA projects.

Familiarity with Primavera P6, Cobra, or other project controls systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Deal Breakers
Applicants without direct experience supporting DOE 413.3B projects, risk management/reporting, or managing complex client relationships in the federal space will not be considered.
